Baldakijn believes that the critical sourcing of its fabrics is one of our most important tasks as a small-scale and slow-fashion business, as such we aim to work with ethical and sustainable materials. As most of our products are created using second-hand, antique or dead-stock materials we cannot guarantee a detailed description of our textiles. Although we aim to work with high-quality textiles, some of our materials might show some wear and tear due to their age, however we believe these imperfections enhance the beauty of our products and make every one of them unique.
All Baldakijn products are handmade in our atelier in Belgium, made with designer fabrics, deadstock fabrics, vintage fabrics and/or antique fabrics. Due to its handmade nature we cannot guarantee a flawless finish for all of our products, however we believe these imperfections enhance the beauty of our products and make every item unique.
